Elena Pippou - Hi! Elle here, I love the Arts and believe that Art might one day save the world….probably why I am Haringey’s Arts Officer, in my opinion the greatest job in the world. What is the best thing about my job? Meeting artists and finding fresh new talent (like James) from the deepest corners of Haringey.

Art needs not be pretentious or grand; I prefer it genuine, bold, and always beautiful. I’m a connoisseur of all things delicious. And, my favourite secret hotspots are – St Martin’s Lane hotel, drinking mint tea in the garden of the Paris mosque, Jimmy’s on Greek Street, having afternoon tea on 3rd floor café of the Portrait Gallery – and most of London really, it’s full of wonderful surprises! .

Candice Armah - I’m Candice, also known as ‘Cand-ice ice baby’ in the office to my disdain; student on a gap year aiming to go to uni in October to study Geography. I enjoy graphic novels and general geek paraphernalia. I feel very lucky to be in the team as I’ve been acquainted with tonnes of things outside of my usual scene; some that are far different to what I expected I’d be doing with my year off. I’m also a huge music nerd and make my own stuff/jam in my spare time.

James Townend - I graduated from Goldsmiths last year, I have a fine art/textiles background. Escapism in art, dreams and The Gothic. Massive fan of films. Still work on my own practice and will do forever. But will eternally harass Elena until she lets me have an exhibition.

Chris Williams - My name’s Chris, I’m an avid gamer but I also enjoy boxing and mountain-biking; basically anything where I can get in a mess. My background’s in design, I studied product/furniture design which one day I hope to use to start my own design firm, but for now I’m very happy with what I’m doing.

Adé Iheanacho - I am a graduate from an Advertising and Branding. To me art takes many forms and can only be defined by the individual. My interest begins with Western pop-culture reviewing the latest eye-catchers, tongue twisters and mind-bogglers. It stretches beyond the sea, reaching out to others around the world gaining a greater depth of understanding while I develop my skills in different languages and designs.
